Occasionally a tutor/assessor from the training provider will be in the practice to observe the trainee during the treatment of patients. Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening is increasing in popularity and our aim is to help you achieve a whiter smile both safely and at a competitive price. A mould of your mouth is taken to provide you with a custom made bleaching tray.

The kit provided by your dentist allows you to whiten your teeth at home. The whitening solution is placed in the trays and worn for approximately two hours per night. We use urea peroxide with sodium fluoride (15%) as a tooth whitening solution. This strength of solution should only be provided by a dental practice.

We estimate that tooth whitening will lift the shade of your teeth by two shades. Tooth whitening will not change the colour of existing white fillings, crowns, veneers or bridges. Your dentist will discuss if you are suitable for tooth whitening.

Acute emergencies will be seen within 24 hours on weekdays. Please contact the practice as early as possible to arrange an appointment. At weekends please phone 111 where NHS 24 will provide cover.
