Implants

Missing teeth are usually the biggest drawback to a winning smile. However, professionally fitted dental implants can solve this problem. The implant is a small titanium screw which, when fitted with a crown, gives the overall appearance of the tooth – thus restoring your smile to its former glory.

In cases where there is not enough natural jawbone to accept the implant, it is sometimes necessary to conduct an initial bone graft. Where this proves to be the case, our dental experts will take a panoramic X-ray that will enable them to check your bone density and identify any underlying problems that were not visible during the check-up.

After your first implant session, you will need to wait for a period of two months or more whilst the process of osseointegration takes place and your mouth heals. Sometimes, a temporary crown can be fitted before the process is completed, but once your mouth has fully healed, the real crown can be fitted.

Sinus Lift

If you have missing bone, we can perform a sinus lift operation which involves filling the gap with artificial bone. The effect will give your face more volume, making you look younger.

Crowns

A crown is usually the best option for broken or damaged teeth, as not only will it restore the aesthetic look of your smile, but will also protect the tooth from further damage by encasing it in a protective shell. After the crown has been fitted, you will be able to use your teeth as normal. Crowns are usually zirconium or porcelain fused to a metal base.

To fit a new crown, we firstly take an overall impression of the teeth to estimate the shape of the crown, keeping it as close to your natural teeth as possible. We will then fit you with a temporary crown until your new one is ready. All of our crown work is guaranteed for between 1-3 years. Please note - if you have an implant, you will need a crown fitted over a dental abutment.

For the perfect Hollywood smile, correct teeth alignment is an absolute must. Our orthodontic surgeons can re-align crooked adult teeth, as well as children’s teeth, with corrective braces.
