About the Business
Our NHS dentists are trained and able to look after all of your dental requirements. We have chosen them to join the EH Dental Care team based on their enthusiasm and passion for dental health as well as their clinical ability. We aim to treat you as we would a member of our own family. Our approach starts with a good conversation about your dental concerns, this is followed by a thorough examination and only then will your dentist offer you a full range of choices and options to improve or secure your dental health.

Replacing Missing Teeth
When a tooth is lost a couple of forces start to come into play. Firstly the tooth/teeth opposing the space will start to drift up/down. This can create cosmetic problems with the gum line on that tooth and may also cause bite problems. Secondly, the teeth either side of the gap will begin to drift inwards, over time they will tilt more and more. This can also affect the way your teeth bite together and possibly cause jaw joint problems. This tilting can also make future tooth replacement difficult should you decide to go ahead later on.
Dental Hygiene
Everyone wants to keep their teeth for as long as possible. Absolutely key to doing this is to look after your teeth and gums to keep them healthy.
Your dental hygienist is a specially trained member of the dental team that can help you clean your teeth, give advice on the best way to do so and often diagnose and treat any health problems with your teeth and gums. One of the first signs you get at home of dental disease is bleeding when you clean your teeth. The problem is that if this happens then it means that the disease has already passed its first stage.
