The Natureza Dental Practice is a very modern space with a friendly and relaxing environment. We are a modern dental practice in Portland Road, South Norwood and we are equipped with the latest technology. Our aim is to provide you with the highest level of patient care.

We value your smile, your time and your comfort. Our task is to care for your mouth so that you can enjoy life with a smile on your face. We have a preventative approach with minimum stress and a highly qualified team.

Preventative Dentistry

Your gums are like cushions for your teeth: they surround the teeth in the jaws and help to support them. Looking after your gums is just as important as looking after your teeth. Red and swollen gums that bleed when you brush them could be a sign of gum disease, also known as gingivitis.

When gingivitis is left untreated it can develop further into a type of infection known as periodontitis, which affects the entire area surrounding the tooth. A result of this could be losing your tooth so it's vital to avoid.

To keep your mouth in tip-top shape we recommend you come in for regular hygiene appointments and dental check-ups.
New Patients First Visit

New Patients First Visit

When you first arrive at Natureza Dental Practice our team will ask you to complete a confidential Medical and Dental History Form and enter your details onto our practice computer system. In order to make things even easier you can download this form from our website and bring it completed.

It is not normally necessary for us to have access to your previous dental records, however you can bring copies of any recent x-rays or treatment plans. You will then be able to relax in our waiting area whilst enjoying a complimentary tea, coffee or water and a variety of nice magazines. A member of staff will then collect you and take you to your new dentist.

At the first visit we feel it is more important to get to know you and establish a good relationship, therefore unless there is any emergency treatment necessary we confine our first visit to discussion of your Dental needs (if any), the taking of a history and a thorough Dental examination together with any necessary x-rays. Your dentist will then explain any findings and discuss with you treatment options and recommendations identified during the examination.

By explaining the options fully, we enable you to make an informed decision about the procedure which is right for you. You will be given a written treatment plan, including an estimate of costs. After your treatment is complete we will agree together how often your routine examination and hygienist appointments will be. For most patients this will be every six months.
