Invisalign
Invisalign is a revolutionary orthodontic system that straightens teeth without the need for conventional braces.
Invisalign uses a series of virtually invisible aligners to move your teeth into position. These aligners are removable and look a bit like thin sports mouthguards. Custom-made to your teeth, they slot over your upper and lower teeth and, because they’re made from clear plastic, no-one can tell you’re having treatment.
If Invisalign is deemed to be the most appropriate orthodontic treatment method for you, you will be issued with a series of aligners to use over the course of your treatment. These aligners must be changed every two weeks to encourage your teeth to move little by little, week by week, until they reach their final position, as prescribed by your orthodontist.
You will be issued with three or four sets of aligners each time you visit the orthodontist, which will be approximately every eight weeks.
Teeth Whitening
Over time teeth can become discoloured as a result of our eating and drinking habits. Tea, coffee, and red wine can stain our teeth, as can some foods, such as curry, and habits, such as smoking.
