About the Business
Norwich Street Dental Surgery was first established as a dental practice in the 1960's by Dr Hooi. Dr Ian Screech took over in 1989 and ran it for 14 years, then Dr Alina Gomez and her husband Dr Mario Gomez took over in May 2003. The clinic is registered with the Quality Care Comission in 2011.
Alina Gomez, principal dentist, qualified from the University of Dentistry in Stockholm, Sweden in 1998. After graduation, she worked as a dentist and did part-time research in genetics, until she moved to UK in March 2002. She registered with the GDC in August 2002 and worked as an associate dentist in Essex before she moved to Norfolk in May 2003. Her interests are reading, playing piano and spending time with her family among others. Dentally she enjoys cosmetic dentistry and Crown & Bridgework and she has a special interest in oral medicine.
